Automobiles in German City Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Confirm

Officers mentioned they were notified by a individual who found a vehicle in Hanau covered with red-colored fluid

Roughly fifty automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be human blood in the Germany's city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Cars, walls and postboxes were marked, occasionally with swastikas, they announced in a release.

Law enforcement say they were notified in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a individual observed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a reddish substance.

The substance had been drawn in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then located many other vandalized automobiles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under legislation outlawing the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement say early analysis indicate the substance was likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no clue as to its origin; investigators are presently not informed of any physical harm in association with the incident," they added.

City officials said they were attempting "to solve the case" and have requested to the public for details.

An important political figure commented the incident left him speechless and required to be solved quickly.

"This event affects the very heart of Hanau and reopens the pain of the extremist terrorist attack half a decade ago," he posted on social media, recalling the killing of nine people by a gunman focusing on individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
